The Xiaomi 13 series was finally launched in China on Sunday after several leaks and rumours. The lineup includes the vanilla Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro phones. These come as successors to last year's Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. Xiaomi's flagship smartphones come with the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 120Hz OLED display, MIUI 14, support for up to 120W fast charging, and Leica cameras.

The pricing, availability and full specifications of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were announced during the launch event on Sunday. Let's see what the phones have to offer.

Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro prices, availability

Xiaomi 13 price starts at CNY 3,999 (Rs 47,300 approx) for 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions are priced at CNY 4,299 (Rs 51,000 approx), CNY 4,599 (Rs 55,000 approx) and CNY 4,999 (Rs 59,20 approx) respectively Phone it will be available in Black, White, Wilderness Green and Far Mountain Blue.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs 59,200) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. The 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions are priced at CNY 5,399 (Rs 64,000 approx), CNY 5,799 (Rs 68,700 approx), CNY 6,299 (Rs 74,600 approx).

Specifications of Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro

Xiaomi 13: Xiaomi 13 has a 6.36-inch OLED display (2400 × 1800) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a punch-hole cutout, HDR10+ and a maximum brightness of up to 1900 nits. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Adreno GPU for graphics, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Android 13 based MIUI 14 custom skin takes care of the software side of things.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. For security, there is a fingerprint sensor in the display. The phone packs a 4500mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.

Xiaomi and Leica have teamed up on the camera system of the Xiaomi 13 series. The vanilla model features a Leica triple rear camera that includes a 50MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

Xiaomi 13 Pro: Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display (3200 × 1440) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1900 nits. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Adreno GPU, up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of non-expandable storage. Android 13 based MIUI 14 custom skin takes care of the software side of things.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro packs a 4,820mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. There's an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Hi-Res audio, an X-axis linear motor, and a vapor chamber for heat dissipation.

As for the camera system, the Xiaomi 13 Pro features a Leica triple camera system that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.
